Smart is Sexy

Don’t judge a book by its cover.

This young woman in my painting may not represent an older generation’s mental image of intelligence. But there is no doubt about it, she is smart; she is independent; she is confident in her skin, and she is SEXY.

Think for a moment about any young, independent, free-thinking woman you’ve noticed. Did she have tattoos? Was her hair bright red, pink or blue? I have met many of these young women and they continue to impress me. Yes, they are smart and knowledgeable about the world. More importantly, they know that “smart is sexy”.

These women, these independent thinkers represent that little part…that hidden feeling inside every young woman that says, ‘You can be a little wild and still be well grounded.’
